Role Description
Mid-sized Montgomery County firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney with 2-4 years’ experience for a general school law position in the school law department. The successful candidate will have a significant amount of direct client interaction as well as litigation responsibilities. As such, the ability to independently and confidently give clear, concise, and practical guidance in a timely manner is critical. The ability to independently handle litigation and administrative hearings is also imperative. The successful candidate will also attend and participate in evening public meetings for our school district clients as the representative from the Solicitor’s office and should be comfortable operating in these public settings.
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, research and organizational skills
- Experience in Education Law, and education-related field or other public sector legal experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency with legal office software, document management and billing systems.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited school
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
