Martson Law Offices, a general practice law firm in Carlisle, PA, is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Full-Time Associate Attorneys to join our team. The ideal candidates would come to our firm with experience in one or more of the following practice areas: Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Municipal Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Collections and Workers’ Compensation, with the possibility of additional practice areas.
We are seeking one candidate with 1-3 years’ experience and another with 4-8 years’ experience. The primary work location for these positions is IN PERSON at our office in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities of the positions include:
- performing legal research
- drafting legal documents
- representing clients at court appearances, municipal hearings, and in arbitration
- handling transactional negotiations
- attending discovery conferences, and completing depositions
- participating in the representation of firm clients across the firm’s practice areas
- traveling, as needed, to complete filings, attend hearings, meet with clients, visit scenes for assessment, and other out-of-office investigative and litigation-based tasks.
The ideal candidates will be ambitious and versatile attorneys licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania looking to contribute to a growing legal team. Compensation will depend upon experience.
